An Important Message for Our Community
In response to the spread of COVID-19, and to ensure community and staff safety, we have temporarily suspended our volunteer program. Please stay well and check back for future opportunities.
We thank you for your support and understanding.
Hospice volunteers are adults of all ages and from all walks of life in our community who wish to support those who are living with a terminal illness.
They are part of the UVM Health Network – Home Health & Hospice’s dedicated hospice team, joined together with professional staff to offer comprehensive care to those in need. Hospice volunteer trainings are offered throughout the year in 11-week-long sessions.
Please note that our next hospice training will begin in September 2020. Please call our office for more information. Thank you.
“I’m greeted with big smiles and hugs. I get so much out of doing this.”
– Judy Wright, volunteer
