‘I like doing that work to support patients and their families’

Gisele Fortier, site supervisor for the Adult Day Program, graciously slid into a screener role at McClure Miller Respite House when Adult Day programs across the state were suspended due to COVID-19. Fortier found other ways to help, even preparing meals for Respite House residents.
“It’s not part of my job, but I like doing that work to support patients and their families,” she says. “We are giving families relief and I am grateful to be here.”
