‘I help out the team as much as I can’
Connie Fleming, LNA, care specialist at Home Health & Hospice’s independent living community for adults with permanent disabilities in South Burlington, says colleagues have helped her get through some of the most difficult periods of her life. That’s why she stays, despite staffing challenges amid a nationwide shortage.
“My Anderson Parkway family was there for me when I needed it,” she says, referring to the site she’s been part of for several years. “That was very important to me, so I help out the team as much as I can which helps our clients too, so they get the care that they need.”
