Familiy honors late mom in very special way this Mother’s Day

This Mother’s Day takes on special meaning for the family of Linda Murray, who spent her final days at McClure Miller Respite House last October. Linda’s children, Brenda Roberts and Norm Morrill, pictured being interviewed by WPTZ-TV, were so thankful for the care their mother received that they wanted to do something special to benefit the residence.
Norm, who competes at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Fair Haven, painted his race car to honor Respite House and is directing all sponsorships he receives to it.
He and Brenda arrived at the house earlier today to show the car to staff and families and present donations they’ve received. Members of the Respite House and Home Health & Hospice team warmly greeted them and cheered as they arrived, then took turns signing Norm’s car before he takes to the track for his first race of the season May 15.
Our team is privileged to have supported Linda on her journey and grateful to Brenda and Norm for honoring her memory in this very special way. #MothersDay #Gratitude
